Pelfrey has no pain in the arm, saying that it just feels "a little tired." His fastball has lost some zip and his curveball has lost some bite in recent starts, leading to some struggles. "Every year, you just go through a little period where you don’t feel like the ball is coming out of your hand like it has that extra life on it," Pelfrey said. "That it jumps out of your hand. I feel like I’ve been going through that." Hopefully Pelfrey, who is in the middle of a breakout season, can get over this soon.
