Promote Jose Peroza and Ronny Mauricio now…to Queens. The Gus in Queens? Send them to Brooklyn.
Tom - Do you see anyone in Queens making that play at 3rd that Peroza did last night? Why is he not on anyone's top prospect list besides yours and mine? He is rule 5 eligible this winter. Someone may steal him.
Also thought it was a big mistake that Lindor and Baez didn't come to Syracuse for rehab. They needed to work with Syracuse hitting coach Joel Chimelis - get their swing down and then come back. Mets don't need another guy to go 0 for 4 in their lineup. I think when Jose Martinez comes back - he will be in a better place.
The Mets hitters have trouble hitting two types of pitches. Fastballs and Not-Fastballs.
The point at which the Mets offense went into a real funk this year was after facing Kyle Hendricks of the Cubs, who threw soft junk at them for a game. Sure hope that Sammy Long has not done the same.
Well said Bob
All these guys have to go. Dom, Jeff, Conforto, JD, even Pete while he has value. I might keep Nimmo. They cannot hit, and I'm tired of waiting for them to "turn it around". Ain't gonna happen. Strip it down and start over
Has to start at top. No more Sandy
