Sorry about the lack of a morning report this AM... I was offline most of yesterday (Easter) with the family and had to work beginning 9pm last night and 6am this morning. There just wasn't time to put one together.
I should be getting some of the minor league rosters later today and, as soon as I officially get them, I will post them. The Mets frown on handing this information out early. Why I have no idea since most of the younger players are all over Twitter telling their fans where they are assigned
A few things I do know...
Alex Panteleodis, Ryan Frazier, and Tyler Whitenton will remain on the extended squad for minor dings.
St. Lucie will include Domingo Tapia, Hamilton Bennett, Chason Bradford, Joe Bonfe, Dustin Lawley, Albert Cordero, Cam Maron, Jacob deGrom, and Noah Syndergaard
I wanted to thank the three additional donations that came in during the past two days. I now can throw this 1-gig laptop nightmare in the trash heap and order myself a 4-gig Dell Inspiron with Word built in. YOU create this and God bless to all of you.
I did talk to someone long distance last night and was told about the fact that the Mets had a "volunteer only" practice at CitiField yesterday and everybody showed up... except Jordany Valdespin. TC has reduced hi role to a late inning PH only and the only reason he's on the 25-man is Sandy Alderson.
Anyway... that's it for today... let's get ready for game time and I'll post up the rosters later.

So was it a case of sour grapes on his part for leading the offense all spring and being relegated to the bench or was there a legit reason for him missing practice?
