B-Mets Launch Inaugural “12 Days of Christmas” Season of Giving Campaign

The Binghamton Mets, in conjunction with 12 local charitable organizations, are pleased to announce the B-Mets inaugural “12 Days of Christmas” Season of Giving Campaign. Beginning on Monday, December 13th, the B-Mets will donate 20% of its ticket package sales at the team’s Oakdale Mall store to a selected charity each shopping day culminating Friday, December 24.

“The B-Mets are always searching for new ways to give back to the community,” General Manager Jim Weed said. “The Season of Giving allows us to aid not just one, but 12 different charities in the local area this holiday season.”

With the hope of raising substantial funds for these charities, the B-Mets are unveiling two unique ticket packages that will only be available from Monday, December 13th – Friday, December 24th at the Oakdale Mall store. The first of which is an Opening Day package that will secure holiday shoppers two ticket vouchers to Opening Day of the B-Mets 20th Anniversary Season, April 14 vs. New Hampshire, for just $14.

The second ticket package is a Fireworks Package. Shoppers can purchase three vouchers good for two tickets each redeemable for any of the B-Mets popular fireworks games during the 2011 season (fireworks dates to be determined). This package offers six tickets in total to explosive action at NYSEG Stadium for just $42 and allows for flexibility as the ticketholder can choose the fireworks’ nights that work best for them.

In addition to the two special ticket packages, the B-Mets popular mini-packs as well as new season ticket purchases are applicable to the Season of Giving. Mini-pack booklets come in denominations of 10, 30 or 50 and are undated vouchers redeemable for reserved grandstand seating to any 2011 regular season home game. Season tickets offer a savings of over 46 percent off the box office price and may be the perfect gift for a diehard B-Mets fan.
