Star Power: Austin Bost. The Aggies got an early Christmas present this past summer when the veteran Bost decided to return to Aggieland for another season. Bost had a big-time breakout campaign for the Aggies last season, hitting .360 with 14 doubles, three triples, 10 home runs and 45 RBIs. He’s expected to take an even bigger step forward this spring as he’s finally 100 percent healthy. He was not healthy for much of last season. There’s a lot of balance throughout this offensive lineup, and Bost is the ringleader.

Going across the infield, the second base position will likely be occupied by Austin Bost, who hit double digit home runs and hit in the mid-300s last season — this after he missed the entire fall because of a broken bone in his back. Now that he has gone through a fall fully healthy, the Aggies expect even more production out of him moving forward.
