The Rays did quite a service for baseball. The Astros can be back in the World Series. But not this year. Not the year their trash can scandal was uncovered. Not with a losing regular-year record. So thank you TB Rays.

Oct 18 73' my lone WS game and the ticket was a staggering $10 bucks. Oh how I loved pre-free agency baseball.
You picked a great game Gary. Koosman was great in the postseason in both 69 and 73.
Too early to start wondering how Cohen will react to rocky moments. He didn't become a billionaire by being stupid.
Can Randy Arozarena be added to the Presidential ballot?
The Cardinals are purported geniuses, yet in the past few years, they dealt away Luke Voit and Arozarena. Those two moves look - well - brutal. Imagine if the Wilpons made those deals.
Tom - to make the Voit deal even worse they waived the pitcher they got for Voit - Chasen Shreve.
