2021 SS Colson Montgomery (IN) just looks the part. Standing 6’4”, 200 with wide shoulders and a strong lower half. Swing shows easy raw pop and produces 95+ MPH exit velos on the regular. 2/2 today with a moonshot HR and this 1B below.

Alex Ulloa's bat is going to force him into Top 100 discussion come next July. Probably a second baseman at the next level. The bat speed is easy with quick hands. A little Luis Urias in the profile

 

 Marcelo Mayer absolutely pummeling the ball this week but can't find green grass. Just smoked his second 400-ft fly out in 2 days. Also bludgeoned a ball into the gap yesterday that was impressively tracked down.

 Gavin Conticello (‘21 Fla.) battles deep into a count here & ends up winning it with a pull-side single to knock in a run. Two run HR in the first as well

 

Dennis Colleran (2021 MA) chucking some fire out of the bullpen for GBG. Power arsenal, FB 92-95/6 and mixed in power slider in low-80s. High octane stuff

Colleran just closed out the semifinals to send GBG to the championship game and showed premium stuff again. The raw stuff is impressive with a big, lively fastball and a firm slider with good bite, impact stuff late in games

 

Great look at the LH stroke from ‘21 OF Braden Montgomery (MS). Has hit all summer and is coming into more and more power.

There’s a lot to like here, obviously. Really simple and easy swing with bat speed and impact, plus arm that profiles in CF-RF, can swing it from the right side as well. Young for grade, too.

 

 

‘21 RHP Bryce Cunningham (FL) showing well so far. FB sitting 88-92 with good life, solid SL with tilt, CH has good tumble as well

Really intriguing first look for me at Cunningham. Extremely low effort, operation is pretty clean, FB/SL play well off one another, extremely projectable build. Vanderbilt commit who has pretty substantial upside

Finally got to see Marcelo Mayer this morning. While he did strike out twice, he sent this ball to deep LCF gap where it was tracked down by the CF. Very loud off the bat, strong and smooth stroke. Very smooth in the field as well at SS

First live look at 2021 SS Marcelo Mayer (CA) this morning. Body is impressive. Smooth actions in the field with an AA arm. Easy LH swing that creates natural loft and easy juice

 

 

Jackson Baumeister (FL) was off to an electric start before a rain delay.

FB was sitting 92-94 and mixes in a plus CB and SL. Has an advanced feel to spin on all 3 pitches, with the FB/CB both north of 2400

Michigan ace Steven Hajjar got about 50 pitches in today. Worked downhill with his fastball at 88-90, quality mid-70s breaker and a nasty 76-79 mph changeup with late tumble deceptive arm speed. Struggled with command but flashed bat missing stuff.
