With the signing on Livan Hernandez, the charted members of the possible AAA pitching roster is starting to spill over on all sides.

Major league teams have 50-60 players in camp, and eventually they will cut down to 25 players.
Minor League rosters are not set until after the major league roster is set.
Every team has AAA affiliates with an overabundance of potential players.
This is normal and happens every spring.

One more thing...
Most major leaguers that sign minor league deals and get spring invites, move on if they dont make the team.
They are not locked into anything.
For example, if Freddy Garcia doesnt make the rotation, he can simply walk away and go sign with another team.
