The thing that struck me the most was the size of the 2009 Mets, all the way down to the kiddies on the other side of the field... there are a ton of 6'2" and above guys all over the place...
I just simply love watching Brad Holt pitch... this is going to be some kind of pitcher.
As I said before, both Marlon Anderson and Luis Castillo were in great shape and look 5 years younger.
The sad part of the day actually comes tomorrow... all proceeds to the Brian Cole Foundation. I did a taped interview with David Wright on Brian, which I will post when I get home at the end of the week.
Duffy's chilli is good...
Also, attendendance and hotel stays are down well over 50%... the economy, or lack of hit have hit Lucy.
Will be there all day tomorrow beginning at 8am.

Mack,
great updates, hope your enjoying the time in spring training. Any of the invites or guys with options look like there establishing themselves in the clubhouse.
curious to see how garcia looks, reports here are he's holding back.
anybody impressing the staff arms wise...
thanks for clarifying Evans
is camp as upbeat as it being reported to be
yes, camp is definitely upbeat... lots of nw faces... I talked with Garcia for a few seconds, but he really didn't want to have a conversation. I did not see him warming up today. Also, he's a big guy and hangs with Johan... Oliver Perez and Jon Niese were very sharp. Niese really impressed Manuel, who made a point to bring his name up at the post press conference... tell you who definitely was holding back was Stokes... and Redding hit a 410 home run...
Wonder if Stokes hammy is still barking....
what was up with Figgy, mad after bad outing or hurt..
hard to say...
many of the players, especially pitchers, are excused after their outing and hed to their car... it could just have been that... in his defense, he did pitch another great inning before that and his stuff looked good...
