DRAFT: Blake Kelso, Trevor Bauer, Scott Copeland, Bruce Manno... and Ryan Lemmerman

Blake Kelso:

3-13 from: link - The best showing of the game came from Houston shortstop Blake Kelso (2010) (pictured). He displayed good arm strength in the field, as well as solid footwork around the bag and clean actions all around. His range could be fringy for shortstop as a pro, but he handles himself well and flies around the field with good quickness. At the plate, he has quick hands and good bat control, profiling as a potential top-of-the-order bat with an ability to shoot the gaps. He was 2-4 on the day with his second double of the year, and clocked a 4.09 to first on a bunt.

Trevor Bauer:

3-14 from http://thecollegebaseballblog.com/2010/03/14/quick-thoughts-from-saturday/#more-24380  -

Trevor Bauer (2011) of UCLA picked up where Gerrit Cole left off on Friday night by striking out 15 batters on Saturday against Mississippi State in eight innings. Bauer’s record improves to 3-0 with a 2.38 ERA in 22.2 innings pitched.

Scott Copeland:

3-14 from http://thecollegebaseballblog.com/2010/03/14/quick-thoughts-from-saturday/#more-24380

Scott Copeland of Southern Mississippi pitched a complete game three hitter over the Missouri State Bears as the Golden Eagles picked up the 6-0 victory. Copeland is now 3-0 with an ERA of 1.80 in 30 innings pitched. If he continues at this level, Southern Miss will be a formidable opponent come time for the NCAA Tourney with Todd McInnis and Scott Copeland leading the rotation.

Bruce Manno - Duke

3-14 from XMLBScout @ link

Senior lefty, Bruce Manno will likely be taken once again this year at a bargain price and he may end up surprising some club who's fortunate to give him an opportunity. 6'1 plus and around 160, lively arm, upper 80's mostly and puts the ball in the zone where hitters won't exploit his lack of velocity. He has an average change and adequate breaking ball that's slurvy and he competes.

Ryan Lemmerman – Duke

3-14 from XMLBScout @ link

SS Ryan Lemmerman is a jr this year, 6'1 185 R/R, 45-50 arm with very good hands, not fleet afoot, but runs 4.3 which is solid and he makes very good contact as a hitter and adapts/adjusts to pitches. Reminds me of a Mark DeRosa a little bit. Could be a nice 8-12 round guy if he'd sign. He's an outstanding student but he also loves baseball and is very interesting.
