TOP TEN PROSPECTS | ||||||||||||||||||||

Don’t laugh. And, I’m
not doing a poor imitation of Ed Ryan.
Why not? Lance Bergman is obviously shot for the year
and the Cardinals need someone they can slot in, like, last night.
Davis could
definitely use a new lease on life and the Mets probably could choose from, two
of St. Louis’ top prospect.
I'm just saying....

Ike Davis in STL becomes a perennial Gold Glove award winning, future HOF power-hitting 1st baseman.
That's how it works with this team, haha.
I have his jersey, I'm rooting all the way for him to turn it around and be a rare homegrown Mets stud.
I'm sure you're right, but...
Rushing a little bit Mack?
Ike is a much better player than he is showing right now, and isn't going to return much in a trade while he is struggling...
He needs time in AAA to get his eye/swing back, but he doesn't need to be shipped out permanently...
Now, if you said Duda to the Cards to play 1B that isn't the craziest idea in the world...
VT !!!!
Long time...
Not rushing, just speculating...
frankly, Duda is a good choce too. He, Ike, and Kirk have never played a full season yet... all three may not be for real.
How have you been?
Mack
Doing well Mack, thanks for asking...
I think one of the Mets biggest problems with Ike's, Duda's and now even Kirk's struggles is that too much of our regular lineup are strictly lefty hitters...Because of it, we are facing a lot of starters that are LHP, and using our bench too often when we face those LHP (both things are keeping the lefty hitters from getting into any kind of a groove)...It's helping Wright though, he hasn't faced this many LHP's since Delgado was swinging a lethal bat...
VT - you are right.
And, they will never be real starters until they learn to hit and srvive against both righties and lefties.
