Mets recalled P Corey Oswalt from AAA-
Syracuse.
Oswalt had started one game so far this season, going 5.2-IP, 3-ER, 5-K (4.76/0.88)
The
Mets sent RP Tim Peterson to AAA-Syracuse from
the MLB Mets.Peterson pitched in four games for the Mets this season (4.0-IP).
Giving up six walks and producing a 2.50 WHIP.
Thursday, 4-11:
Binghamton
activated C Phil Capra off of their IL list, but
then optioned him to Low-A: Brooklyn. Capra was a 15th round pick in
2018, out of Wagner College. Last season, he hit .146 (103-AB) for
Rookie-Kingsport.
Friday, 4-12:
The
Mets ‘officially’ optioned RP Tim Peterson to
AAA-Syracuse. Peterson pitched in four games for the Mets, going 0-0, 4.50,
2.50, 4-IP, 6-BB
The
AAA-Syracuse Mets placed SP Casey Coleman on the
10-day IR list. Coleman pitched in two games this spring for Syracuse, posting
a stat line of: 0-1, 3.38,1.13, 8-IP, 8-K (This easily could be a ‘paper’ IL
move to make room for either Peterson of the expected return of Corey Oswalt).

Whoever gets called up I bet they wish it is today. Syracuse is taking a bus trip from Pawtuck to Rochester tonight.
