Comment of the Day




As we head into the short Thanksgiving week it would appear readership is down more than usual.  Comments, therefore, are fairly light. This time the best comment comes from Mike Friere on the ramifications of the minor league changes and contract extension recently offered to a prospect who has yet to play a single inning of major league ball:


He raises some good points about the probable rise once again of independent leagues and how that pool of available resources should be regulated.

I always are puzzled when it séems that comments are down.

I checked the site and page views are actually up 20% in the last 2 weeks.

I always have found that sometimes the best posts have minimal comments.

It could be that us writers are all writing about the same thing but frankly to me is when the post is most informative and makes the most sense.
