Chris Mazza made his winter league debut last night throwing two shutout innings with 3K’s, 2 hits, no walks, 13 pitches for 13 strikes.  He made the international league all-star team last year and could be a sleeper for a rotation spot next year. 

In that same game, ex-Met, Jordany Valdespin played right field and went 1 for 4 with a walk. 

TJ Rivera went 1 for 3 playing 1B last night and Arismendy Alcantara went 0 for 4 playing Left Field as Tigres del Licey lost 6-5 in the Dominican League.
