The Chicago White So/x extended the contract of prospect outfielder, Luis Robert. Terms were $50mil through 2025, with two $20mil team options in 2026 and 2027.
Robert is ranked by Baseball America as the #3 prospect in baseball.
I know we don't currently have someone ranked in the top 20, but is these anyone out there worth considering for a contract like this, or does the Juan Lagares fiasco still linger?

Juan Lagares, Yoenis Cespedes and others indeed waft their stench as bad investments.
I would go young here and try and extend guys like Rosario and Lugo
These kind of contracts for a PROSPECT are taking baseball into a whole new pay dimension
