OPEN THREAD - Your Favorite All Time Mets Reliever
Speaking of pitching... Who is your all-time favorite Mets reliever? Some to consider... John Franco... Pedro Feliciano... Jesse Orosco... Billy Wagner... Tug McGraw... Jeurys Familia...
Well, I have two favorite BP MOMENTS: (1) The McDowell/Orosco RP-RF shuffle (same game in which Ray Knight cold-konked Eric Davis?) (2) Larry Bearnarth uncorks a hellacious change-up & Jim Ray Hart screws himself into the ground. Bob Murphy remarks that he could have swung a second time.
Billy Wagner. My last name is Wagner, so I bought the authentic jersey when they signed him. It will never be out of style for me. :)
Also would mention Skip Lockwood (a reliable arm in the late 1970s), and Armando Benitez (I know there's a lot of hate there for the 2000 WS, but he was lights out for most of the regular seasons he was a Met).

But my favorite guy was Tug.
Wagner. He should be in HOF.
Homie, Tug was my # 2.
After this year, # 3 will be Sugar.

For a short but SOLID career as a Met, let's not forget Bob Apodaca.
