A four run fifth against Dillon Gee gave the Braves a 5-0 lead.  Mets got the first five batters on base in the 7th on a single, 2 walks, an error and a HBP soring 3 runs but managed only 1 single the rest of the game for the 5-3 defeat.

The loss dropped the Mets below .500 in the young season and in 3rd place, a game behind the Phillies and 3 behind the undefeated Braves.

Mike Puma NY Post: Mets finish off terrible day with disheartening loss to Braves. "With the wound of Jenrry Mejia’s suspension still fresh, the Mets got only three hits and lost their second straight, 5-3 to the Braves at Turner Field...The Mets sleepwalked through the first six innings against Julio Teheran before making a ruckus in the seventh, when they scored three runs to pull within 5-3."

Up next: Bartolo Colon started the series finale on April 12, 2015 to help the Mets avoid the sweep.
