The First Place Mets avenged the loss the night before by slugging 3 HRs off C.C. Sabathia - Lucas Duda, Kevin Plawecki and Eric Campbell.  Matt Harvey (W,4-0) went 8.2 innings, 2 runs, 5 hits, 1 HR, 2 walks, 7Ks for the win.

NY Post: Harvey stuffs Yankees as Mets make Subway Seriesstatement. “Tied, 1-1, in the fourth, the Mets scored four runs off Sabathia with the big blow Plawecki’s first big league homer, a two-run drive to left that gave the Mets a 5-1 lead. Campbell homered in the sixth when Esmil Rogers uncorked two wild pitches for another run. Plawecki drove in the final run with a single in the eighth.”



Braves won to stay 4.5 games behind the 1st Place Mets.
