B-Mets Prepare for Spring Training Schedule

BINGHAMTON, NY – The Binghamton Mets will warm up for their 22nd season in the Southern Tier by playing eleven exhibition contests in Florida against the Double-A affiliates of the St. Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins.
The B-Mets start their set in Jupiter, Florida on March 15 against the Springfield Cardinals. They will play five additional games in Jupiter, the Spring Training home of the Cardinals and Marlins. The B-Mets will host the Cardinals and Suns for five home games in Port St. Lucie, the spring home of the New York Mets.
All games are set to start at 1:00 PM. Recaps of each contest will be made available on the B-Mets’ website, www.bmets.com.
Following their final game in the Sunshine State on March 29, the B-Mets will break camp and trek north to NYSEG Stadium. Binghamton kicks off their season on the road against the Akron Aeros on Thursday, April 4 at 6:35 PM.
The B-Mets open up their home schedule on Thursday, April 11 at 6:35 PM against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Individual tickets for all B-Mets home games are slated to go on sale Friday, March 15 at 9:00 AM. For tickets, visit the B-Mets front office during regular business hours or call (607)723-METS.
