Well, it's Super Bowl Sunday and no word from the Mets on the OP signing.
I haven't talked to anyone this weekend, so all I can say is I stand by my source and I reported what I was told.
I still assume Oliver Perez will wear a Mets uniform this year, and things obviously still haven't been put to stone. Shit happens. I'm sure OP is getting plenty of phone calls from friends on the team, and I'm equally sure he has called his agent, but agents do only one thing... they make the most money they can for their clients... and themselves.
Pitchers like Randy Wolf are way down the priority list and, believe me, the first and only thing the Mets are working on right now in Oliver.
I await your opinions (especially the pond scum over on NYSD).

Cool fact about that pic...I was standing in North Korea when it was taken.
Also, we weren't supposed to make any gestures or anything to the North Korean guards (the guy to my left is South Korean--good guy); anyway, I flashed a Peace Sign to the North Koreans and they grimaced at me and started mumbling obscenities in Korean (which I speak)...too funny.
Every time someone starts mumbling obscenities to me, I'm usually receiving a comment from somebody over at Mofo.
Mack, you are like the high school kid who can't get over his first girlfriend after she finds out that he's a psychopath and dumps him. Remember Mack, all the venom you spew towards the mofo stems from the fact that you could not handle criticism, in any form, while there. Not to mention the fact, yes FACT, that you were given an opportunity by Joe and you spit in his face with your actions upon leaving.

Chuck hangs out on a Mets thread site which is pretty rough and tumble.
I used to write for them and had some permanent memory loss after a brain swelling incident... some of them over there like to attack people personally, and I overracted a few times... eventually, I quit the site and moved on...
The owner, Joe McDonald, is a heads up guy who always paid me well for revenue sharing...
