The B-Mets lost, 16-2.
Really weird pitching game.
Jenry Mejia started, but pitched only 4.0 innings… 2 ER… 1.64 AAA ERA.
He was relieved by Nick Abel… ready for this? 2.1 IP, 10 ER, year long ERA 10.44.
Every Harrisburg starter had a hit, and most had more.
A team doesn’t normally keep a pitcher in for 10 runs unless they’re about to give up on him. Draft picks coming in… pitchers being bumped up… hmmm…
B-Met’s bats wise, who cares, right?
I looked over the lineup and, in my opinion, the only starter worth getting exicited about this day was 19-year old SS Ruben Tejada, who got two more hits, and raised his batting average (19-years old… AA…) to .285.
