John Maine was placed on the St. Lucie roster today, for his rehab starts.
There is no word when he will pitch his first game.
Like Carlos Beltran, Maine wants to assure the Mets that he's ready to play, even though the 2010 season is almost mathematically over.
Goodfor you, John. We need you back in 2010.
