LAST GAME: After recording back-to-back 1-0 wins, the B-Mets slugged their way to a 10-9 win over Trenton in 10 innings Saturday night at NYSEG Stadium, tying a season-high with 18 hits in the process. Binghamton jumped out to a five-run lead in the first three innings on the strength of a three-run second innings and an Eric Campbell two-run homer in the third, the first of two homers for the third baseman. Campbell led the way for the B-Mets with a 4-5 showing including a double, two homers, three runs scored and four RBI. However, Binghamton squandered a 9-4 lead through seven innings, allowing Trenton to tie the game in the ninth, courtesy of an error by reliever Emary Frederick on the a missed catch at first. In the tenth, Luis Hernandez provided the a walk-off sac fly to center, plating pinch-runner Jose Coronado. Thunder reliever Grant Duff was charged with the loss for allowing a run over 1.2 innings of relief. Edgar Ramirez notched the win, stranding two men in the tenth, after getting the final two outs for Frederick. Trenton mashed three homers in the loss.
