The Bisons are coming off a 3-5 homestand that included a four-game split with Lehigh Valley and a 3-1 series loss to Indianapolis.

vs. THE BRAVES: Tonight is the first game between the Bisons and the Braves this season. Last year, the teams split each four-game set in Buffalo and in Gwinnett. The Braves did outscore the Bisons, 40-33, in the eight games.

SOLID STARTER: RHP DYLAN OWEN is making his seventh start with the Bisons this season. The righty has worked at least five innings in each of his outings and has recorded 31 strikeouts in only 33.0 innings of work. In his last outing, June 15 against Lehigh Valley, Owen allowed just two earned runs in five innings of work for the win.

ROSTER MOVE: RHP BOBBY PARNELL has been recalled by the New York Mets. The reliever has thrown in 24 games for the Herd this season with a 1-1 record, four saves and a 4.14ERA. His 24 appearances were second most on the team (LHP MIKE O’CONNOR, 25). This month, Parnell is 1-0 with 3.46ERA and two saves, with 11 strikeouts in seven games (13.0IP).

LEFTY MIKE: LHP MIKE O’CONNOR has made five consecutive scoreless appearances for the Herd. During the stretch, the lefty has allowed just three hits while striking out seven batters in 6.2 innings of work. On the season, O’Connor has retired the first batter he’s faced in 21 of his 25 outings (84%) and has only allowed five of 21 inherited runners to score (24%).
