Don't go crazy following all these Mets sale stories.
Reporters are paid to write differnt slants than other stories.
Aug 31st is date to remember and there is nothing we can do to change the outcome.

Someone needs to explain why Ramos is in the lineup. Four miscues in last 2 starts. Missed tag, passed ball, out at third and 1st pitch swinging when Gimenez for had 2nd stolen.
I prefer Nido as well. If Ramos is going to hit like Nido might as well play Nido and get the better defense. I think the brain trust is hoping that Ramos gets hot. Metstradamus (if you click on the link to the full story) had great insight on Ramos today. Not being with his family this season has really impacted him. It has to be tough. Hope Ramos can work through it.

I belive that, if the season continues to crap out and Ramos doesn't play well, the Mets will let him opt out sometime next month.
Good point Mack. Makes a lot of sense.
Nido is off to a good start. Hitting more like Ramos.
Gsellman really gave them length tonight
