17/yrs. old 6-1 200 Benedictine HS (VA)
Low-90s fastball topping off at 93. Sharp low-80s dynamic slider. A legit out pitch.
Fast. Clocked a 6.89 60-yard dash. Long arm action with extended 3/4 arm slot. Lightning quick arm.
Future baseball career could never happen due the fact that he is a standout football player.
Mack projection: I project him going in the third round... if he says he is staying in baseball.
Carson Seymour
RHP 21/yrs. old 6-4 240 Kansas State
Sat out the 2019 season after transferring from Dartmouth. Played on the Cape Code league last summer, hitting an increased 98 on the fastball. Averages in the 91-94 range, a change, and two breaking balls. Was not drafted in 2020, probably because of the questions surrounding the transfer year.
Limited 2020 stats: 4-starts, 2-2, 3.92, 20.2-IP, 25-K
Mack projection: Tough to call because the limited amount of work he has put out over the past two years. A high risk pick in the 3rd round... probably a high reward one in the 5th round down.
Brandon Neely
RHP 17/yrs. old 6-2 190 Spruce Creek HS (FL)
Very athletic with an ultra-smooth delivery. Great mechanics. Fastball has been clocked up to 94, which sits in the low-90s. Has four more pitches... mid-70 curve, low-80s slider, and two breaking balls. 3/4 arm slot.
Strength and growing should increase over time.
Mack projection: Right now he is ranked in the bottom part of the top 100 players available in the draft. His value could vastly increase if he could get on the mound again between now and next June.
Josh Pearson
OF 17/yrs. old 5-10 195 West Monroe HS (AL)
Another big-time high school bat. Bulldog frame. Launches balls out with ease. Good bat speed and barrel whip. Hits from the left.
Very good runner (6.51 in the 60) runner and below average arm. Projects to LF. Also, has consistently performed at a high level in outside events.
Mack projection: I really don't like the 'bad arm' tag. I don't need another poor defensive outfielder in the works. Currently projects in the 3th-4th round range, which I think is a stretch. We have had one pleasant surprise with a player tagged as a poor defender (Pete Alonso) so I would take a pass on this one.
Landon Marceaux
RHP 20/yrs. old 6-0 180 Louisiana State
Athletic undersized righthander. Pitched in the Saturday slot for LSU in 2020,
Low-90s fastball, topping at 93. Average slider and average change. 3/4 arm slot and strong mechanics strengthens his delivery.
Think Marcus Stroman.
2020 LSU stats: 4-starts, 2-0, 2.70, 23.1-IP, 22-K
Mack projection: Marceaux will probably be drafted in the 3rd or 4th round, but, if I was him, I would go back to LSU to shine as the Friday starter in 2021.

Mack, saying Marceaux's comp is Marcus Stroman is probably a good comp, but I don't want to think Stroman, and I don't want to think Cespedes. Both disrespected the Mets' fans badly.
I think if we can convince the first guy to play baseball, Woolfork, he'd be an interesting 3rd rounder.
