Regarding tomorrow's doubleheader, it's a 5:10 p.m. ET start. The Mets will be the designated home team for the first game, while the Marlins will be "home" for the nightcap.

Yep, I'm all in on Gimenez at SS next season and beyond. He's a difference-maker with the glove, and has great all-around instincts for the game. Mets will have to figure out whether to play Rosario at another position or deal him. https://t.co/F9MgnIuMMw

“The pressure is on in New York. There is way more publicity, much more attention ... You don’t know what it’s like until you come in at four in the morning on the team bus, and there are hundreds of people waiting at Shea Stadium. That’s the big leagues.” - Terry Leach #LGM pic.twitter.com/JGShWMTcJF

At the age of 20 years, 9 months,
9 days, Dwight Gooden becomes the youngest 20-game winner ever when the Mets
beat San Diego at Shea Stadium, 9-3. Doc is 27 days younger than former
Indian hurler Bob Feller, who accomplished the feat with Cleveland in 1939.

Mike Pelfrey becomes the first
Mets hurler with back-to-back complete-game victories since Bret Saberhagen
accomplished the feat in 1995. With the help of a pair of Carlos Delgado
three-run home runs, the 24 year-old right-hander beats the Astros, 9-1.

Pujols passes A Rod in all time RBI list. Once upon a time, the Mets passed on drafting Pujols for 12 rounds. We know what happened next.
Brodie, don't make trades that will greatly piss off those of us who care about top prospects.
Play ball.
I like the leaner links post...
Still think you can ditch the MLB link portion.
