Send Gsellman down. Please. Let him earn his way back. He stinks.

Tarp key can go too.

Tarpley, not Tarp Key.

MeGill sighting

Tarpley is not a depth piece. Anyone cut from the Marlins is not not a prospect...hope I am wrong about that

Megill looked good.

So, let me understand this...Gsellman and Tarply combine for 2.1 innings, 8 hits, 5 runs, and 2 HRs, and Megill gets 2 outs, including a K on a 96.4 MPH FB, but Megill would never have gotten in the game if these other two hadn’t failed? Which of the 3 is currently the best?

Gsellman this spring 8 innings, 14 hits, after a terrible 2020? Mets, do the right thing.

Think they want to see what they have with those two guys. I think the Syracuse staff will be very interesting this year. Does Megill start or pitch in relief?

John, they have been so secretive about Megill. Sad. How can one predict how he might be used?

Latest I hear was that they wanted to use him in relief this year. With missing all of 2020 he might be better served starting to get the innings in.

Once they set the MLB roster, we are going to see a large number of pitchers at AAA. It will be fun to see how it finalizes.

John, all that about Megill is good, but I am very disappointed he only got 2/3 of an inning. Usually that is an indicator of something.

My guess is he is ahead of Gilliam, and perhaps even Gsellman - but that is a wild guess at this point.

It is not like he was throwing 100, but he was clearly throwing harder than Betances, and Megill has a very good slider. I agree - it will be fascinating to see what he does in 2021.
