The 3 players are…
Vientos: 497 PAs, 23 HRs, 67 RBIs, .245/.311/.452
Baty: 462 PAs, 17 HRs, 57 RBIs, .248/.320/.419
Alvarez: 511 PAs, 27 HRs, 72 RBIs, .232/.316/.459.
I’ll take that production in a heartbeat from these 3.
The median MLB team in 2023 was .250/.321/.413.
So these guys project to be solid median hitters essentially in their 2nd year.
This early in their careers? At their ages? I’m OK with that.

I would gladly take those numbers from Vientos as an everyday DH
while the numbers aren’t bad they aren’t good enough to contend , Need more from Baty as an everyday Thirdbaseman. I need a better DH that can bat 5th and protect Alonso
Not too good but the sad thing is that it’s likely they won’t do that well.
I'd be a bit surprised if Vientos does that well. But I'd be even more surprised if that trio got to 1480 plate appearances.
I think the Mets would contend for a Wild Card with that level of production, to go along with Pete, Lindor, McNeil and Nimmo. They would have to add a Yamamoto and probably one more decent starter and some GOOD (not maybe good) pen arms.
I would be thrilled with these results...
In 2024
I would not be thrilled if this stat line wasn't much greater in 2026, when these three should mature and have learned more about the pitchers they are facing and how the stadiums they play in play out

Add Mauricio at second with 25 homers and 70 rbi's and I think we have a winner.
Those would be good results, and could make the team competitive enough to make the playoffs, though not enough to win a very tough NL East division. It would have to be supplemented by a good year from McNeil which he did not have in '23, and great years from Nimmo and Lindor and Alonso.
Paul, Fangraphs has 2024 McNeil at .288. I’d take that.

Compare those 4 players’ ZiPS to 2023 Vogie, Mendick, Arauz, and Escobar, and that would be quite the upgrade.
Mauricio 25 hrs sounds good but doesn’t seem likely
McNeil has a lifetime batting average of .298. Hitting 10 points below your career average is at best mediocre. I would hope Jeff finds it refreshing to have Eric Chavez back to the hitting coach and hits over .300 next year. Don't forget that for all his versatility, it is the batting average that keeps him on this team with so many hungry young prospects coming up.
I would try and trade Nimmo and McNiel. Then trade those prospects for Soto. I’d rather have Soto than both of them on the team. Plus our young guns provide deep cheap $$$ depth.
Zozo
Zoos, no to both, and I’ll tell you why. I read a great article on Nimmo where he explained how he has learned to hunt his pitch and how to lift the ball. I see a Nimmo transformation into something close to what Daniel Murphy did around this age, and this time I want the Mets to enjoy it. As for McNeil, I believe that he has at least two strong years left and maybe three. He is not a power guy, so the average can hold for another couple of years, plus his versatility while playing a several positions makes him a package that is hard to replace. If he was a power guy like Alonso, I’d worry. But that’s not his game.
Gus and Zozo, if we get upgraded offense from the four baby Mets and the expected from Pete, Lindor, Nimmo, McNeil, that’s good offense. Let’s fix the pitching.
McNeil got the car so this should an MVP year for him.
