South Alabama’s Drake Nightengale: NCAA should ‘make it right’ for senior athletes –

Nightengale was the Jaguars’ No. 1 starter in both 2019 and 2020 after transferring from junior college, and had posted a 3.09 ERA and 39 strikeouts in 23 1/3 innings in four starts this season. He was among seven seniors on the USA baseball team this spring, and the one most likely be drafted by a professional team in June.

I talked to a friend in Alabama.

He was the Friday starter for two years and has a fastball that sits 95.

My friend said he felt he would be a great candidate to move fast through affiliate pens.
