At least four of Tennessee's junior college signees are at
risk of signing pro contracts if drafted — Walters State pitcher and former
Central standout Alex Haynes, and pitchers Kody
Davidson, Jackson Leath and Jason Rackers. The lone high school signee
to watch is infielder Jorel Ortega from Lake Worth, Forida.
None of those five is listed among the top 200 prospects.
Haynes was drafted in 2016 by the New York Mets in the 29th round.

Billy Wagner was another short lefty, listed an inch taller. Some short guys can get it done. Maybe Kody will, too.
