FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Ronny Mauricio went 2-4 in his AA debut last night after being transferred to Binghamton from Brooklyn (A+) on Thursday. Mauricio hit .242 with a career high 19 homers in 100 games with the Brooklyn Cyclones this season. The shortstop is ranked as the Mets 3rd best prospect by MLB Pipeline and Baseball
America.
YOEL READY FOR THIS: Ponies INF Yoel Romero went 1-3 and hit his first homer since June 27th in Reading. Romero has 14 doubles this season setting a career high and 4 homers which ties a career high.
FITTING RIGHT IN: All 3 of Binghamton's pitchers made their Rumble Ponies debut last night. Alex Sanabia, Akeem Bostick, and Brian Metoyer combined to allow 3 runs and 4 hits with 7 strikeouts over 8 innings.
