Buffalo 5, Syracuse 4

Buffalo won 5-4.

Lance Broadway is beginning to settle down as a starter for Buffalo. He put up 6.0 IP, 1 ER, and is easily his best outing of the season. I always liked this kid and I hope the Mets pitch him eery five games in Buffalo for the rest of the season. I think he is, at least, a AAA keeper.

Javier Castillo singled in Mike Lamb in the second… Lamb later tripled in two more runs in the third. Jesus Feliciano singled in the last two runs in the 8th.

Everything was going along just fine… 5-2 lead in the bottom of the 9th… unhittable Elmer Dessens in for the save… and bam, two runs are scores… but no swear, Dessens closes it out and the Herd won their second game in a row.

Adam Bostick continued his 0.00 ERA streak since coming to AAA.

Lamb went 4-4, and raised his BA to a whopping .219.
