Nelfi Zapata wore a wide smile as he pumped his fist and rounded first base. The junior catcher had just ignited the widely pro-Boston English crowd into a frenzy with a mammoth home run that landed on a street beyond the left-field bleachers. It was only the fourth inning, but the game was over.
