TODAY’S GAME: Tonight, the Bisons take on the Durham Bulls in the final game of a four-game series from Durham Bulls Athletic Park (7:05 p.m.). The Herd has lost the first three games of the set and has now dropped four straight for the first time this season. Tonight’s game will end Buffalo’s eight-game roadtrip that began with a 3-1 series win in Norfolk. The Bisons will return home tomorrow for an eight-game homestand.

vs. THE BULLS: After last night’s defeat, the Bisons are now just 1-6 in their last seven games at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Prior to that, the Herd had faired extremely well at the home of the Bulls. Buffalo didn’t lose a series at DBAP from 2003-2008 with three set wins and three splits.

ROSTER MOVE: OF FERNANDO MARTINEZ has returned to the Bisons after a four-game stint with Single-A St. Lucie. Martinez hit .267 (4-15) with a double in for St. Lucie to finish his recovery from a left hamstring strain. The outfielder missed 23 games with Buffalo because of the injury. Martinez was hitting .244 (20-82) in 22 games with the Bisons before the injury.

THE DISH ON MISCH: LHP PAT MISCH gets the start tonight for Buffalo. The southpaw leads the Herd in innings pitched (70.1) and ERA (3.33) and is second on the club with five wins. Misch has worked at least six innings in each of his last six starts. Buffalo is 9-2 in the hurler’s previous 11 starts.

METS UPDATE: The Mets (32-28) split a doubleheader yesterday against the Padres. New York lost the first game 4-2 with C HENRY BLANCO hitting a two-run homer. The Mets then shutout the Padres, 3-0, thanks to LHP JON NIESE’S complete-game one-hitter. Niese struck out six and was one batter away from a perfect game. The Mets will head to Baltimore tonight to face the Orioles (7:05 p.m.).
