Gettys too, Mack. But I like the Home-School kid, Johnson and I love lefties (Brandon Finnegan since Rodon will obviously be gone).
This is a very talented first round and will be hard to miss on it.
I also have bought into Sandy's high school approach to the first pick. He's gone that way so far for three years, why not continue...
There's will be plenty to pick from. but look for us not to pick again until the 4th round
Glad to see Gettys, Fisher, and Flaherty all projected to still be on the board when the Mets pick.
If the Mets pick in the 1st and 4th rounds I think I'll be very happy.
Do you realy think the Mets sign 2 FA's with à QO? I doubt they would sign 1 but 2?
Mack, While I have no problem with Getty's he's very good I'll take Braxton Davidson. I'm a Tar Heel fan and his bat is incredible.He put on a hitting clinic at one of the show cases this summer against very good pitching. He has all the tools and will play a corner outfield position in the majors for a very long time.
I would have no problem with Davidson, who can play 1B as well as a corner outfield position.
