9-30-13 – TTF Mock 2.0 - 11. Toronto Blue Jays* — Alex Jackson, C, Rancho Bernardo HS (CA) The Blue Jays get this pick for failing to sign their 2013 first-round pick, Phil Bickford. Jackson, at 6’-2” and 210 pounds, has some of the best power in the entire 2014 MLB draft and the ball jumps off his bat differently than most due to his strong wrists and plus bat speed. While he has the tools to remain behind the plate, some feel he may be better suited for a corner outfield spot where his power and canon arm would play well. He hit .343/.479/.806 over 35 games as a junior with 14 home runs and 29 walks. Committed to Oregon. http://throughthefencebaseball.com/2014-mlb-mock-draft-2-0-draft-order-set/38280#5E3F5j1jWOgE69bJ.99
9-11-13 - Sully’s 2014 Top 100 MLB HS Draft Prospects – 42.Bryan Dobzanski – RHP, Delsea Regional (NJ) HS http://www.ninebaseball.org/Wordpress/sullys-2014-top-100-mlb-hs-draft-prospects/
9-29-13 – XMLBScout – 19.)LHP, Justus Sheffield, Tullahoma HS, Tullahoma TN, 5'11 180 L/L, saw him last year, seemed like the same guy but was within himself more for 5 innings, didn't rush as much as last year, fb velo same, 88-92, most were 88-89 with some life middle out vs RHH, sharp cb at times, not great command of it yet, but it has nasty action when he leads with elbow, all pitches from 3/4 slot, needs to stay compact in delivery, move to 1b is fair, work to be done still, good looking lefty for 2014 for sure, Vandy commit? Brother had arm blowout during 2013 season, Justus has had time to think and being a lefty, a premium spot out of HS, only has added value, plus he's got two solid average pitches and has improved his command over his 2012 performance. Still a bit eratic, but he's young and loves the game! http://xmlbscout.angelfire.com/
10-6-13 – Kendall Rogers/PG – College Prospects - 7. Michael Cederoth, rhp, San Diego State (Drafted: 2011, Diamondbacks -- 41st round) - The ultra-talented Cederoth is yet another prospect who could rise a few spots with a strong 2014 campaign. Cederoth, a striking 6-foot-6, 210-pounder, showed better command last season with 109 strikeouts and 48 walks, but could still use some advancements in that area of his game. Otherwise, Cederoth throws four pitches, his 95-101 fastball the showcased pitch. http://www.perfectgame.org/Articles/View.aspx?article=9081
10-9-13 – Early Pick for Cubs - Tyler Kolek, RHP, Sheppard HS (TX) - High school arms are the riskiest of all 2014 MLB draft picks as they are usually far from a finished product and injuries are always a concern. Their bodies aren’t physically mature yet and there is a lot of projection involved when it comes to pitching. At 6’-6”, 245 pounds and the ability to hit triple digits on the radar gun, projection isn’t a concern with Kolek — he already is a man. Aside from his plus heater, he also has shown the makings of a plus slider but still needs to develop his offspeed stuff. He also runs a 4.8/40, showing great athleticism for his size. The Cubs are trying to build a sustainable farm system to be perennial contenders down the line. Kolek would be a kid who they could take their time developing and the finished product could be silly. http://throughthefencebaseball.com/2014-mlb-draft-early-targets-chicago-cubs-fourth-overall-pick/38723

Im really hoping Kolek is available for the Mets
I never liked pitchers in the 6-6 range. It's just me.
