Indians re-signed DH Jason Giambi to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
That didn't take long. Giambi hit just .183/.282/.371 in 216 plate appearances this season, but he still has good power and the Indians love his clubhouse presence. He'll serve as a part-time DH and pinch-hitter in 2014.
