Will rest for 2 weeks, then start to throw If Tommy John surgery will happen for Bobby Parnell, determination likely would be made in 6 weeks.... Sandy Alderson said Bobby Parnell's "forearm pain" was first relayed to Mets postgame Monday.... Bobby Parnell had been having discomfort for 4-5 days, but only told team Monday.... Sandy Alderson calls elbow ligament tears an "industry-wide" problem, not Mets-specific. Harvey and Hefner had Tommy John last year.

Too bad Parnell did not have 3 days off for paternity leave. Sorry Danny, 3 days is too much...this team needs its leaders to lead. Like you said Mack, old school. Boomer said he'd have asked his wife to have a C section so he's there opening day. I am not advocating that, but...I am old school.
