After going 0-3, and misplaying a ball at first which led to a run.......great call.
I don't understand what has happened between opening day and right now that would all of a sudden make this decision?!?! Ike Davis actually had an opposite field hit that was actually impressive since he's never done that in the past and I've been begging for that. Not that he's much better of an option but just buries Ike now and might as well send him to Vegas to get abs. Classic Mets!
At least they've given up the ghost on Duda as an OF. It's possible this is their attempt to showcase him for teams in need of a 1B/DH. After all they need to move one of their left-handed bats to get this year's Marlon Byrd .a.k.a. Bobby A back up in the bigs.
