FIRED - Matt Williams

The Nationals dismissed manager Matt Williams earlier this morning, a source tells James Wagner of the Washington Post (Twitter link). Williams’ job security was widely believed to be tenuous at best following the team’s disappointing season and reports of communication issues.

Hitting coach Rick Schu, pitching coach Steve McCatty, bench coach Randy Knorr have also been fired.

Complete overhaul is coming to Washington.

They also have quite a few "high profile" free agents......should be a much different team in 2016 (but they still have a solid rotation, so they aren't going completely away).

Seems rather deserved. I've come to the conclusion that in 2015 the most important factors for being a good manager go:

1. managing the clubhouse
2. managing the media
3. managing the front office
4. managing the bullpen
5. managing the starters innings
6. managing your lineup

basically to be a good manager, the least important part of the job is the game itself.

Dam....I was hoping they would extend him say 10 years or so.
