Riley Cornelio
Mack's spin -
Cornelio is another Mack wildcard.
I am basing this off his incredible shortened 2020 season where he produced a 0.87-ERA. Yes, there are some control issues here but the raw talent (in my opinion) outweighs the risk here.
This is going to be a star in this game.

Commit/Drafted: Never Drafted
Age At Draft: 21.1
Cornelio was the top-ranked prep arm out of Colorado in the 2019 draft class, checking in as the No. 69 prospect in the BA 500. An athletic, lean righthander with a 6-foot-3, 195-pound frame, Cornelio was effectively wild in his brief 2020 season with Texas Christian, posting a 0.87 ERA over 10.1 innings despite walking seven batters and striking out six. Cornelio’s delivery is up-tempo with plenty of moving parts that has inhibited his ability to remain in sync, with stabbing action in the back of his arm stroke, a pronounced head whack through his delivery and a sharp recoil in his finish as he falls off to the first base side. While that does give him some deception, he’ll either need to figure out how to throw strikes more in spite of the moving parts, or clean some of his actions up to gain more consistency. Cornelio throws his fastball in the 89-93 mph range and has shown flashes with two distinct breaking balls and a low-to-mid-90s changeup, but he needs more consistency with each of them. Cornelio has plenty of arm speed and athleticism, and he still has a projectable frame, so there’s room for more here but refinement is needed as well.

Riley Cornelio, RHP (2021): Cornelio was a consensus top-100 prospect out of a Colorado high school two years ago. A draft eligible sophomore in 2021, he could hear his name called on the first night of the festivities.

What round for Cornelio? His FB seems a little short.
Well, I have him as the third pick in the second round.
I may be way off here but I jus think he is going to tick up this season.
