I'm bullish on a Florida State OF Max
Williams breakout going into 2025. Whiff% fell 8 percent in 2024;
in-zone whiff% fell 14%. Chase% skyrocketed, but bat-to-ball metrics out of
zone made considerable strides. Evolving swing. Will flash 70-grade raw power.

PG –
Max Williams is a 2022 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Fleming Island, FL who attends Clay. Big and strong athletic build with some projection remaining.
Left handed hitter, step by step swing mechanics with a leg lift load, torques hard in his swing and creates big raw bat speed, doesn't have consistent flow or timing to his swing yet but the barrel is very loud with top of the scale power when timed and squared, high ceiling hitting potential. 6.98 runner, aggressive to the ball in the outfield, has athletic actions at the ball, showed whip to his arm and good carry on his throws.
Also
plays first base but has classic right field tools in the outfield. Very
interesting athlete with a huge tool in his power potential. Good student,
verbal commitment to Jacksonville. Named to the PG All-American Underclass
Games Top Prospect List.
