CBB  named 3B Oklahoma junior Garrett Buechele as the 67th top ballplayer in the nation, regardless of what draft they qualify for.

Toss It Around  named RHP Matt Barnes as the 5th top prospect in the upcoming draft. Barnes has been racing up the mock drafts. He has been named in the top 15 players overall in all of the last five mock drafts, including the 5th overall pick by Toss It Around, and the 9th overall pick by PG Tracker, Jonathan Mayo, and GoBrook. The god news about the 6-4, 205-pound Barnes: excellent command… fastball 93-96… hits 97… big late life… bored up… and in on right-handers… unhittable when ahead on count… breaking ball 74-77… slider 78-81… Fanhouse says he has “swing and miss stuff”… true 12/6 curve with bite… 8-3, 3.92 as a sophomore… projects as an SP2/3, or closer if stamina becomes issue. The bad news… not much… arm action a little long on the long side… relies too much on fastball… needs to show more consistency… IMO, Barnes will not be around for my Mets when they pick 13th, In fact, he could go top 5.
