Bisons Add Jason Cooper to Roster
Mark Kiger placed on DL

The Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, today announced that OF Jason Cooper has been activated to the team from the Brooklyn Cyclones roster (A). To make roster room, INF Mark Kiger has been placed on the disabled list.
Kiger suffered a left hand strain during an at-bat in yesterday’s 5-3 win over Columbus.
Cooper has hit .211 (8-38) with three doubles and two RBI in 16 games with the Bisons this year. He is in today’s lineup against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (2:05 p.m.), starting at third base and batting seventh.

Ed, Jerry fell in love with Malo in ST...

judging by the constant flow of mediocre talent from the minors, Malo looks like a sure bet to be the next call up
