INF Alex Cora Joins Bisons on MLB Rehab Assignment
The Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, today announced that Mets INF Alex Cora has joined the team on a major league rehab assignment. The Mets placed Cora on the disabled list on May 18 with a torn ligament in his right thumb.Cora has hit .333 (17-51) with four doubles, a triple and four RBI in 26 games with the Mets this year. He last played on May 17 against the San Francisco Giants.
