1. Watch for the roster moves tomorrow…
2. In Savannah, second baseman Josh Satin (.294) was pinch hit for in the sixth inning… we’ll see if he was sent to the locker room to pack his bag for Lucy tomorrow…
3. Also in Savannah, defensive liability Jenry Marte looks like he’s coming out of his A-ball shell. Anther 2-hit night, both doubles.
4. Not sure I understand why, but Angel Berroa played shortstop Tuesday night for Brooklyn. I don’t seem to remember something called an instant rehab.
5. Mike Lynn had another scoreless outing, pitching 1.0, with 2-K, and lowering his EA to 1.17. Lynn was a 30th rounder in 2008.
6. Nice outing for SP Lachlan Hodge for the GCL Mets… 5.0-IP, 0-ER, 4-K, 1.93 for the season.
7. The VSL Met manager must have read my report car on first baseman… perennial designated hitter Nestor Moreno got back to playing in the field, at first, went 3-5, and raised his batting average to .361. And, he didn’t make an error.
8. The exciting part of the VSL game is the Carlos Avellones era is on… 3.2 innings on a strict pitch count… 2-ER, 3-BB, ERA now 1.83.
9. Speaking of a great pitching performance in Latin America… Francisco De Los Santos (6.0-IP, 0-R, 5-K, 4-BB, 2.10) and Carlos Vasquez (3.0-IP, 0-R, 4-K, 0-BB, 7th save, 1.31) combined for a 1-0 drubbing.
10. “J-Rod” (OF prospect Javier Rodriquez) got off the shit list and debuted with GCL… 0-4, 3-Ks…
