As a Sophomore (2009): Finished the season 2-1 with a 4.68 ERA ... started four games but made 22 appearances in relief ... pitched three shutout innings against Quinnipiac to earn first career save (2/28) ... started game against Towson and allowed only one run on two hits in four innings (4/7) ... pitched four shutout innings in no-decision against La Salle, striking out season-high four batters (4/21) ... winning pitcher against James Madison, throwing two scoreless innings (4/28) ... pitched two shutout innings in relief against Delaware (5/12).
As a Freshman (2008): Made 21 appearances, all in relief ... finished with a 4.26 ERA and 24 strikeouts to 13 walks ... averaged nearly a strikeout per inning pitched ... did not allow an earned run in six of last seven appearances ... made first-career appearance in season opener at Coastal Carolina (2/23) ... pitched one shutout inning in win at William & Mary (3/19) ... tossed 1 1/3 shutout innings against North Carolina (3/23) ... had breakout performance against Clemson, pitching 4 1/3 shutout innings, allowing only two hits to earn first collegiate victory (3/29) ... retired one batter to earn the victory against Georgia Tech (4/19) ... struck out career-high five batters in 3 1/3 shutout innings against NC State (5/10).
At Catonsville: Three-year pitcher and outfielder for the Comets ... hit .397 as a senior and went 8-2 with a 1.05 ERA on the mound ... made First-Team All-Metro as an outfielder in 2006 and as a pitcher in 2007 ... preseason all-state as a senior ... Brooks Robinson All Star in 2007 as well as all-academic team from 2005-2007.
