R.I.P. - Fletcher M. Johnson, Jr.

Fletcher M. Johnson, Jr., the founder and managing attorney of the Fletcher M. Johnson Law Firm, died today of pancreatic cancer.

He earned a B.S. degree in biology from the College of Charleston as well as a Master's in Mass Communication and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of South Carolina. Fletcher's practice is concentrated in the areas of serious personal injury and wrongful death, business law, criminal law and wills and probate. When Fletcher isn't spending time with his wife Betty, their sons Jimmy and Davey and their nine grandchildren in family activities or church activities, he enjoys playing music and painting. He also serves as Associate Judge of the Bluffton Municipal Court.

He also was a true friend, my attorney, and the mandolin player in my old band, Jack's Jammers.
