38-G, 136-AB, .289/.379/.355/.734, 1-HR, 8-RBI, 23-K, 17-BB - Flores was benched earlier in the winter season, but came alive in the second half of December. He's also played first base and the corner outfield positions, stil looking for a position the Mets will be happy with.
John Lujan – RP - Gigantes de Carolina – PRWL
12-G, 14.0-IP, 1-0, 3.21, 1.21, 8-K, 5-BB - Lujan pitched for both Buffalo and Binghamton in 2011 and combined for: 3-7, 2.43. in 51 appearances (69.1-IP, 66-K, 21-BB). The 6-1 righty is still on the Mets roster and will pitch 2012 as a 28-year old. I xpect him back, this time in Buffalo for the entire season.
Oliver Perez – LOOGY - Tomateros de Culiacan – MWL
Oliver Perez – LOOGY - Tomateros de Culiacan – MWL
21-G, 13.1-IP, 0-1, 0.68, 1.13, 17-K, 8-BB - it looks like Oliver figured out how to work his way back to the majors. Ya know, I bet he would take a lot less than... err... never mind.
Roy Merritt – RP – Criollos de Caguas - PRWL
17-G, 11.2-IP, 1-1, 0.00 , 0.86, 5-K, 5-K - I told you for years how this guy was going to dominate out of the Mets bullpen some day. It simply hasn't happened and it's not because of lack of talent. Roy survived the Rule 5 and I hope the Mets plant him in Buffal in 2012 and let him develop as a LOOGY. There still is potential here.
